A Digital Printing Network
We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
Yesterday I tried my hand at finetuning my wife's Asbru Compact 54 (modified Roland SP540 VS) in order to improve photographic prints (TIFFs and JPGs) on glossy paper. (see www.siriknudsen.no for some of her photos).
I was trying to get as little graininess as possible, which until now has been especially evident on smaller prints (like 20x30cm and smaller).
I managed to improve the quality dramatically by choosing 'uni-directional' printing instead of 'bi-directional'. I also set print speed to 800 mm/sec.
I still feel I should be able to do even more tweaking.... does anyone have some tips on getting optimal results on photographic prints?
Thank you
Trygve
